Sales Support Manager / Inside Key Account Manager

CrossControl is growing. In the last couple of years we have established many new customers in Europe, US and China and we keep winning new business. As Sales Support Manager / Inside Key Account Manager we offer you a very developing position, supporting the Key Account Managers in maintaining existing as well as developing new business.

In the role as Sales Support Manager / Inside Key Account Manager you have the responsibility to drive customer satisfaction and sales growth by acting as the intermediary (“spider in the web”) between the customer and the internal organization.

Job description

Projects

  • Project team member for big product development projects, handling commercial matters: Customer communications, change management, orders, contract management
  • Lead smaller product customization and kitting projects, through RFQ process, Engineering, Production preparation and initial serial Production.
    - Define deliverables, planning and budget, in line with organization standards and in accordance with the business case and customer expectations.
    - Ensure internal alignment and involvement from all concerned departments: Product Management, Engineering, Sourcing, Production, Quality and Logistics
    - Facilitate a smooth transition to Operations at project completion.
  • Lead other smaller projects and activities, eg. product generation shifts/upgrades, support customer’s supplier development programs and audits.

Account Management
Build and maintains relationships with the customer, through frequent contacts (visits, calls, emails) in order to improve customer satisfaction and identification of business (improvement) opportunities.  Is together with the Key Account Manager the Customer expert for the internal organization.

  • Independently solve smaller commercial and project related topics and if required visits customers for that.
  • Interact and coordinate with the sales team and other staff members in other departments working on the same account.
  • Obtain information and knowledge about market (developments), competitors, prices and products, and share this information with the internal organization for growth and business development purposes.
  • Develop, maintain and improve internal administrative processes required to effectively serve customers as well as to support the internal organization.
  • Quotations and proposals
  • Independently prepares quotations and proposals for standard products and smaller customization projects. Individually responsible for closing smaller customer deals and customization projects.
  • Participate in proposal teams for large offers, together with Engineering and Product Management. Being responsible for driving the proposal process and preparing proposal documents.

Competence and experience

  • Relevant education in engineering, business or management
  • 3-5 years of relevant commercial and/or commercial project management experience within a (technical) international B2B environment
  • Knowledge of organizational processes;
  • Business fluent in Swedish and English. Other languages are meriting.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of and experience with sales in an international B2B technical environment.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills and  resistant to change and stress
  • Willingness to travel (about 20%)
  • Team player, able to work in multidisciplinary projects teams

  • Compensation: Monthly salary. Overtime per collective bargaining agreement.
