The CrossControl Engineering Services team in Tampere, Finland has been strengthened through two recent recruitments in embedded software engineering. This in response to growing demand for software engineering and integration services in the solutions CC is providing to the industrial vehicle market. The latest recruitments add competence in the fields of human-machine interaction and embedded software, on Linux and Windows platforms. As an investment to test method and test automation development, the embedded software team in Alfta, Sweden has also been strengthened with a new recruitment, as well as Alftas electronics design team.

In the new control system generations, the industrial vehicle OEMs focus on establishing future proof software platforms that facilitate easy implementation of advanced, value adding functionality. When more of the machine value is realized in software, it becomes increasingly important for vehicle OEMs to be in full control of software application development. The development environment needs to be based on commercially available tools and standards that are workable for in-house engineers, or external software engineering resources. In this transformation, our customers leverage CC’s open software frameworks and system engineering skills.
