Prerequisites

• LinX Software Suite DevEnv v6.0 or newer

• Qt 6.8.3

Supported Qt Creator versions

• Qt Creator 17.0.1

Installing LinX Manager Data Engine

Observe that LinX Manager Data Engine comes pre installed as a QtCreator plugin in the UX-Designer dev tool from CrossControl.

These steps are intended to be performed in the UX Designer VM 6.0 or newer.

1. Contact customer support for linx-manager-dataengine_<version>_amd64.deb installation package.

2. Move the package to your VM.

3. Double-click on the package to open it with GDebi.

4. Follow the instructions to install the package.

sudo apt install ./linx-manager-dataengine_<version>_amd64.deb

LinX Manager Data Engine is available from the mode selector in Qt Creator once installed.
