CrossControl’s new platform for machine intelligence offers separate computing hardware and monitors. This approach enables a new, adaptive lifecycle approach where each component can be independently managed and upgraded.
The monitors deliver a best-in-class viewing experience, featuring optically bonded IPS type displays and high brightness for excellent visibility in demanding environments. Their slim bezels not only provide a modern aesthetic that refreshes the cabin design for the next generation of machines but also simplifies installation and allows for bigger screens and better information visualization while navigating the same physical footprint constraints.
Featuring a cutting-edge application manager the system software development is also made easier with the possibility to:
- Integrate multiple applications within a single HMI
- Develop and maintain each application independently (even in different programming languages)
- Dynamically move GUI applications between screens to optimize the operator’s workspace (for example to move a process control application from a main display to a display on the other side of the vehicle to suit a specific task stage)
- Meet new cyber security requirements, regulations and demands with signed software, secure software updates, and OS support

At the core, the CrossCore A100 platform is powered by the latest ARM System-on-Chip (i.MX 95), designed for industrial applications.
It triples the performance of the last generation of on-board computing devices, allowing for advanced business logic, precision tool control, and AI-driven operator assistance, including object detection and task automation. The platform also introduces advanced functional safety features, such as safe touch-to-CAN and CAN-to-safe rendering. The CrossCore P100 features an intel platform for even more performance suitable for the most demanding applications and bringing powerful PC performance to the cabin.
By introducing a centralised computing architecture, the CrossCore vehicle computing platform brings state-of-the-art system design capabilities to the sector. CrossControl’s modular platform supports expandable functionality, including AI acceleration, additional storage, and communication modules giving the system flexibility to meet individual machine, range and fleet requirements.
