Fast boot time is critical for certain machine control functions, in some cases it is used by the operator to securely start the machine itself, or for sensitive machines it is required to actively monitor and control machine systems to ensure safe operation and vehicle health.
CrossControl's Fast Boot feature significantly enhances the usability of machine systems by providing a quick responsive system and communication with the rest of the system infrastructure. The user experience is also improved by reducing the boot time, operators can begin their tasks without unnecessary delays, leading to a more efficient workflow.
Instant access from cold start is achieved using the CPU microcontroller, supporting both CAN and advanced Qt based HMIs. While suspend resume ensures instant access to the full OS and application functionality with minimal energy usage while system idle.
