As Continuous Improvement Leader we offer you a challenging position within our Quality Management Organization. The Continuous Improvement Leader plans and coordinates improvements initiatives into CrossControl’s processes, review existing processes and develop solutions that aim to increase Safety, Sustainability, Quality, Delivery and Cost.

This role reports to the Quality Manager of CrossControl.

Job description

• Manage the organization’s Continuous Improvement (CI) program with accountability to drive measurable improvements in key process indicators including safety, sustainability, quality, delivery cost.
• Participate in the CI program steering committee.
• Work operatively in the CI projects.
• Drive the process of culture change towards continuous improvement throughout the company.
• Help deliver the annual CI program assessments and participating with developing the local CI program plan in cooperation with CI Steering Committee.
• Main responsibility for the Productivity and Cost Improvement System (PCIS).
• Identify, agree and manage CI project portfolio to achieve savings in the PCIS system.
• Organize improvement events (Kaizen events).
• Responsible for the communication of monthly activities into the CI Steering Committee and into communication board systems.
• Represent CrossControl in a professional manner, both internally and externally.
• Elaborate and create improvement business cases.
• Procurement of indirect production related materials according to set attestation rights.
• Order maintenance services in line with the set maintenance plan.
• Lead internal training activities.
• Lead Value Add Value Engineering pre-study projects, projects that aims to suggest improvements in design and/or producibility.
• Design, optimize, monitor and analyze manufacturing processes, approving and/or preparing manufacturing instructions.
• Continuous Material Requirements Planning improvements.
• Perform Value Stream Mapping events.

Competence and experience

• Bachelor of Science and/or work experience in Engineering, Quality Management, Continuous improvements or from a similar role.
• Problem solving training, preferably Black Belt training.
• Process development training, LEAN experience.
• Know-how of manufacturing process.
• Team player with experience in working cross functionally.
• Ability to motivate and challenge peers, colleagues, team members and sponsors.
• Professional language skills in Swedish and English, spoken and written.

Merit

• Background from the electronics and/or mechanical industry.
• Project manager with a solid track record of reaching targets in an international business context, or project manager experience.
• Skilled in finance, budget planning and reporting.
