The latest version, CC Linux is our advanced, open-source Linux system, specifically tailored for the CCpilot display computers and the needs of machine systems. It offers quick and easy integration of existing applications and access to device features using standard Linux interfaces for efficient realisation of desired functionality.
The platform supports silent and robust updates. Silent Updates download, verify and install the new release in the background allowing the machine to continue normal operation. Robust updates protect against sudden power losses, connectivity interruption or unexpected events ensuring the machine remains operational and the issue can be solved by the system later. These features help facilitate security updates without inhibiting operation which are necessary to comply with the incoming Cyber Resilience Act which mandates that products with digital elements remain secure throughout their entire lifecycle. Both features can be efficiently supported by the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth options available on CCpilot displays.
