CrossControl will attend our 7th Agritechnica in Hanover from the 12th to the 18th of November. At the last Agritechnica we introduced our modular technology platform and showcased the industry’s first iMX8 based 7” display, the CCpilot V700. The display and platform have been an enormous success and on show this year will be our entire range of iMX8 based displays, available in size 5-12”, an HMI controller driving multiple independent monitors and an example of our built-in support for AI derived tools with a demonstration of object detection. With a wide range of display and touch screen and physical button interaction options the display range can effectively be deployed as a modular display platform for OEMs and system suppliers that deliver equipment of different size and complexity.

The HMI controller provides a scalable UI system where it is easy to increase or decrease the available screen real estate to meet different machine tiers from both a hardware and software perspective. The demo uses our window and application management framework in which applications can be resized, shown in split screen and moved between displays. Our iMX8 based displays have inherent support for AI based productivity tools. To demonstrate this we will show an example of object detection running on one of our displays connected to a normal ethernet camera with no other external assistance systems. With the Object Detection module and the hardware support in our iMX8-based displays, customers have a lean path for implementing ML derived tools like OD in their vehicle systems.
